Opportunity of a lifetime to travel with us after a long period of collective deprivation. This journey will be one, as always, with a focus on a physical, emotional and spiritual experience, appealing to the 5 Senses.

There will be 15 days of many experiences, including Yoga, Meditation, cultural visits, contact with Nature, in the land of Sagarmatha - Mount Everest. The longtime partnership with Nepal Promote Trek & Expeditions Ltd. will take us through Nepal safely with their know-how.

TRAVEL ROUTE

Day 1 Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
After check-in, the group will head to the Ayurveda Center for treatments and massages.

Day 2 Cultural visit to Kathmandu
Visit to Swayambhunath Also known as the Monkey Temple, for its sanctuary. Many colors, beliefs, meditation and history. World Heritage by UNESCO. Then, a guided tour of Chandragiri Hills, located on the southwest side of the Kathmandu Valley, at 2,551 meters above sea level. The hill offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayas, from Annapurna to Everest. Chandragiri Hill has a cable car system to reach the Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple, about 10 minutes.

Day 3  Cultural visit to Kathmandu
Visit the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist shrines in Asia. Presenting several Buddhist monasteries around it that reminds Barkhor, area of Lhasa, Tibet. Following it will be visiting Kopan Monastery. Buddhist monastery was established by Mahayana Tradition Preservation Foundation in 1969. It was established by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche as a home for monks. Kopan Monastery is a place for study, retreat, meditation and Buddhist practice. The monastery offered integrated education through which people's minds and hearts could be turned to their highest potential for the benefit of others, inspired by an attitude of universal responsibility. Place of peace and meditation in a silent and calm environment. During the late afternoon we will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the main religious sites in Nepal and definitely the main Hindu temple in the country, where you can see the ghats where cremations take place, meet the Sadhus and participate in the Aarati ceremony that is held every night. at 7 pm.

Day 4  Visit to Sanga, Namobuddha, Panauti 
Transfer to Nagarkot. Visit Sanga for a glimpse of the largest Shiva statue in the world, the 44-meter-tall Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. Then visit Namobuddha to Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, heading to UNESCO listed Panauti. For Namobuddha there will be the option to hike through farmland and hills from Panauti to Namo Buddha to explore one of the most sacred Tibetan Buddhist sites in Nepal and a beautiful fully functioning monastery. Nagarkot promises its visitors the perfect picture of a panoramic view of the Himalayas.

Day 5  Arrival in Chitwan, with a stop at the Trishuli River
Transfer to Chitwan one of the greatest natural gems in Nepal with its National Park. On the way, time for 2 hours of adventure on the Trishuli River in which you will have a unique and unforgettable experience: Rafting will be our proposal. Upon arrival in Chitwan, the adventure does not end and we will go on a jeep safari where we will be able to testefy all the splendor of the Jungle and the harmony of its inhabitants.

6th  Activities in Chitwan
Still in the Natural Park, the harmony and tranquility of nature will be presented through a canoe descent down the Rapti River, where you can see crocodiles, rhinos, elephants in their natural habitat, among other species. During the afternoon, contact with local tradition will be inevitable, in the company of the Tharu Tribe, without first admiring the sunset on the banks of the Rapti River with the natural park as background.

Day 7  Departure to Lumbini
After checking out, we will depart for Lumbini where Siddhartha Gautama, Lord Buddha, was born in 623 BC in the famous Lumbini Gardens, which soon became a place of pilgrimage. Among the pilgrims was the Indian Emperor Ashoka, who erected one of his commemorative pillars there. Upon arrival, the group will have some free time to rest.

Day 8  Lumbini Heritage sites sightseeing
In addition to all the details of the birth of Buddha, between visits we will not miss the Temple of Maya Devi, Zhong Hua Buddhist Monastery (Chinese), the Royal Thai Monastery, dedicated to Buddhist practices, is a gleaming building built in white marble and the center of meditation with a blue roof, among others, always with Buddhism in our company.

Day 9  Pokhara as the next destination, but...
After check-out and breakfast, we will depart towards Pokhara, and on the way we will make an essential stop to enjoy the deep culture and traditions of the Newaris. We will enter Durbar Square through the huge gate, Baggi Dhoka, through which the cars of religious festivals pass. You can find beautiful wood carvings in the buildings on either side of the gate, examples of fine Newari craftsmanship. Temples, textiles and gastronomy will be the attractions of this remote location, outside the tourist sphere of Nepal.

10th day  Now yes: Pokhara!
We will leave Palpa in our memories, continuing on to Pokhara where you will feel the energy of the imposing Himalayas. This friendly town is where most visitors to Pokhara make a stop here before starting or after finishing the “Circuit of Annapurnas” hiking route.

Day 11  Himalayas before our eyes!
We'll leave the hotel well before sunrise, with enough time for the steep climb to Sarangkot. High above, the Himalayas will remain among the first rays of the sun for you to contemplate. Something just magical!
After recording these images in our mind, we will return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out towards the Dhampus Village - House of the Gurungs, a Nepalese ethnic group originally from the central region of Nepal, offering one of the best panoramic views. Even before returning to Kathmandu, we will spend the night in Bandipur, a small postcard-worthy village waiting for us for a relaxing night of rest and conviviality.

day 12  return to base
Back in Kathmandu, the day will be a day trip, with free time for shopping in the traditional Thamel shops.

day 13  Visit to Kathmandu Valley - Part II
Back in the Valley, this time we will walk through the streets of Patan, justifiably called the Beautiful City, located south of Kathmandu and the birthplace of Newari arts and culture.

Filled with beautiful and intriguing temples, this ancient city was once one of the main kingdoms in the Kathmandu Valley and its central square is exquisitely well preserved. Opportunity to purchase treasures and souvenirs in the various shops around the square. A surprise awaits the group in order to internalize the Nepalese people. Free afternoon for shopping. We will continue to Bhaktapur Durbar Square where we will visit the Palace of 55 Windows and one of the 3 squares in the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 14  Ayurveda to restore...
Because traveling is tiring, this day will be dedicated to physical, mental and emotional well-being where you will benefit from 6 hours of treatments throughout the day, promoted by treatments and massages originating in Ayurveda medicine. Treatments in a center specializing in ayurveda medicine. End of the day complemented with meditation and concert of Tibetan bowls. Farewell dinner in a traditional Nepalese venue.

Day 15  Until next time Nepal
After breakfast and preparation for check-out. Free activity period. Airport transfer for return to Lisbon
