About the event

What values can Yoga give you, what are the tools for your day-to-day in your Life, how these tools can help you to deal with others and with yourself.

Another year passed and we reached the height of another Yoga Intensive with our friend PEDRO KUPFER, this time with the theme "The Values of Yoga"

In this course, which combines Haṭha Yoga practices with study, Peter will expound, and invite participants to reflect on, the 20 values that Śrī Kṛṣṇa teaches to warrior prince Arjuna at the edge of the battlefield in Bhagavadgītā. The situation that the prince is going through is truly dramatic and only a clear and objective vision can help him to understand what life is putting in front of him.

If these values worked for Arjuna at that time, they will certainly work for us today as they show us new possibilities for relationships, new possible directions for our actions and new paradigms that can neutralize both our conditioning and imperfections. of our own character.

When we hear the word value, something relevant or fundamental comes to our minds.

Each of us has a scale of values that we stick to.

However, beyond the subjective values that each one may have, and beyond those who are born and die, there is a series of values that does not change, that are timeless and apply to all people and situations. Those personal values, which change with time or circumstance, can be called moral.

Those who do not change, we will call here ethics.

In Sanskrit, dharma. The values expounded by Kṛṣṇa at the edge of the battlefield, which serves as a backdrop for the teaching of the Bhagavadgītā, are of the latter type: perennial, in the sense that they do not age or go out of fashion (and should not go out), and universal, in the sense that they are valid for all people and under all circumstances.

Practitioners and students of all forms of Yoga are welcome.

Throughout the meeting, we will have practices of āsana, prāṇāyāma, relaxation, mantra and meditation, as well as moments of study and reflection.
